Artificial Intelligence (AI) has created many exciting opportunities, one of the ability to recognise hand
gestures. Hand gesture recognition means that a computer can “see” and understand the movements
of the hand. This technology is used in lots of different ways to make our lives easier and more fun.

Artificial intelligence, or AI for short, is a branch of computer science that enables machines to perform
tasks that ordinarily require human thought. Machines can learn to recognise images, analyse spoken
language, and even make decisions for themselves thanks to artificial intelligence (AI).

How does AI work?

AI gains knowledge from data. In other words, it looks at examples to identify trends. For example,
