A robot is a special machine that can perform tasks just like humans but
often faster and without getting tired. Unlike normal machines, robots
can move, sense their surroundings, and make decisions based on the
instructions. Think of robots as automatic helpers that don’t always
need someone to control them.
Robots can have wheels, arms, sensors, or even cameras that help them
see, hear, or feel what’s around them. They can be as simple as like a
toy that moves when you press a button to complex, like a robot that
can explore other planets.

Mechanical and Electronic Components Used in Robotics

Robotics is making robots and studying their working. There are two major types of parts we must
know about when building robots: mechanical (the bits that make our robot move), and electronic
(the bits that help it think).
