Step 6 The last band, silver, represents a tolerance of ±10%. Write this after 22000 Ω to show the
calculated value as 22000 Ω ±10%. Thus, the given resistor value is 22000 Ω.

7805 Voltage Regulator IC (Integrated Circuit)

The 7805 voltage regulator IC is a three-terminal device that provides a
constant output voltage of +5 volts.

The first two digits “78” indicate that it is a positive voltage regulator, and Vcc Out
“05” indicates that the output voltage is +5 volts.
                                                                                                           Gnd
                 Connecting Wires

Connecting wires are like electrical roads that let electricity travel
                   between parts of a circuit.

They’re usually made of a metal like copper, which lets electricity
                   pass through easily.
When you connect them correctly, they create a path for electricity to move through.

                 Battery

A battery is similar to a compact power bank that stores and releases energy to power
                 devices when connected to it.

                 Battery Cap
                                                                                             GND Vcc
A battery cap is like a cover that goes on top of a battery to protect
it and make it easier to connect wires.

It has two parts: a positive and a negative terminal, which matches
                   the terminals on the battery.
When you put the battery into the cap, the terminals touch the battery’s terminals, allowing
                   electricity to flow.

                 Overview

In this activity, students will explore the basics of electronics by creating a simple circuit to make
an LED glow using a breadboard. They will discover how breadboards work and learn to identify and
connect basic electronic components such as resistors, connecting wires, and LED.
