This change happens due to light energy provides the materials with extra energy, making it
easier for the electric current to pass through.

                 Transistor

A transistor is like a tiny switch that can be turned ON or OFF by a small
                   electrical signal.
When a small current flows into the transistor’s base, it allows a larger
current to flow between its other two terminals.

This allows the transistor to amplify or control electrical signals.

                 Overview

In this activity, students will create an automatic street light using a breadboard, a 9V battery, and
various electronic components. By includes an LDR sensor, students will design a circuit that turns
on an LED automatically when it gets dark.

                 Learning Objective

Understand the basic principles of how an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) works.

Learn to construct a simple circuit using a breadboard and various electronic components.
Demonstrate the use of a transistor as a switch in an automatic lighting system.
