Blinking LED Using Tinker Orbits Kit
An LED (Light Emitting Diode), is a small and colorful light that can glow and brighten
things. LED lights come in many colors, and they are used in things like flashlights,
traffic signals, and even on some toys. They are cool because they last a long time and
use less energy than regular light bulbs.

Activity Blinking LED Skills
Overview
Students, have you ever wondered how festival lights blink on and off during celebrations?
These lights are controlled by a simple electronic system, just like what we’ll be learning about
today. Similar to how those lights blink in fun patterns, we will use a small LED and code to make it
blink. This will help you see how electronics and programming work together to create cool things
we use in everyday life!
Learning Objectives
The objectives of this activity are to introduce students to basic electronics and programming
concepts using the Tinker Orbits Kit.
