Calculating Load and Distance: Measuring the weights the crane can lift and the distances it
                     can reach.

Data Representation: Recording and analyzing data related to the crane’s performance, such as
                     lift capacity and speed.

                  Observations

In the “Robo Crane” activity, students will learn how a robotic crane lifts and moves objects.
When powered on, they’ll watch the motors control the crane’s arm and hook, showing mechanical
movement. Students can test different weights to see how the crane performs and discuss the
importance of balance and weight distribution. If the crane doesn’t work as expected, they can
troubleshoot by checking connections, motor direction, and sensor placement to fix any issues.

                  Application

Material Handling: Robots play a crucial role in handling and
transporting materials within warehouses and factories, optimizing
                  logistics and minimizing manual labour.

                  Obstacle Avoider Using Mechatron Kit

An ultrasonic sensor is a device that helps measure distance by using sound
waves. It’s like a bat using echo location to find its way around!

                  How Does It Work?

                  1. Sound Waves: The sensor makes special sound waves that are too high for humans to hear
(about 40,000 times higher than what we can hear).
                  2. Sending Out Waves: The sensor sends these sound waves out into the air.

                  3. Hitting an Object: When the sound waves hit an object, like a wall or another robot, they bounce
                     back toward the sensor.

                  4. Listening for the Echo: The sensor waits to hear the sound waves come back. This is like listening
for an echo after you shout in a canyon!

                  Mechatron Kit Components

Controller Board (Brain Module): A controller board, also called a brain
module, is like the brain of a robot. It tells the robot what to do and makes
sure everything works smoothly. It acts like a leader, giving orders and making
                  sure the robot works well.

Connecting Wire: Connecting wires are like pathways for electricity in a circuit. They link
different parts together so electricity can move smoothly and devices can work correctly.
