Step 8 Place three NPN transistors on the breadboard as shown in the image.

Step 9 Insert three 220 Ω resistors into the breadboard as shown in the image.

Step 10 Connect the 220 Ω resistors to the collector terminals of the NPN transistors as shown in
the image.

Step 11 Insert three LEDs into the breadboard so that their longer leads (anodes) are connected to
the emitter terminals of the NPN transistors.
