What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the science of making machines, like
computers or robots, smart. Normally, machines follow specific
instructions, but with AI, they can make decisions on their own
based on the data they are given. For example, instead of telling a
machine to “pick up the ball,” you can teach it to understand what
a ball looks like and let it decide when and how to pick it up. AI
can be found in many places, from phones that understand voice
commands (like Siri or Google Assistant) to self-driving cars that
know how to navigate roads. In simpler words, AI gives machines the ability to think and learn just
like humans do.
