SCRATCHJR PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE

ScratchJr is a programming language that is developed for young children to

create their own interactive projects through coding. Using ScratchJr, students
can snap together various blocks to make characters move, jump, dance and sing.

This computer programming language encourages creativity and expression
by enabling children to modify how their characters look and design their own

                  background.

                         BLOCKS OF SCRATCHJR

Blocks are like puzzle-piece shapes that are used to create code in ScratchJr.
We connect the blocks to each other like a jigsaw puzzle. Blocks are easier to use

than text-based programming as we do not need to remember the commands
to be typed. The series of connected blocks is known as a script. We drag the

blocks into the programming area to create a script.
