Sometimes, data may be in a format that makes it difficult to process. For example, in our dataset, the Rupee ( )
symbol in the Price per Unit column may prevent us from performing calculations on those values.
Data should always be clean and follow a consistent format. To remove the dollar symbol, follow these steps:
Step 1 Select the Price per Unit column by clicking on the column G.

Step 2 Select the Number format.
This will remove the rupee symbol from all the values in the column and convert them into numeric format, making
them ready for further calculations.
