Introduction to Data Modelling

Data modelling is like making a plan or a blueprint for how data will be stored and used in a system. Just like an architect
designs a plan before building a house, a data model is created before building a database. In data modelling, input from
stakeholders is used to design systems.
Data modelling is the process of creating a plan or structure for how data is stored and connected in a system. It is
important because it helps in organising data properly, making it easy to understand, manage, and use across different
departments. The data model uses diagrams to show the relationships between data.
Data modelling shows how different pieces of data are connected in a system. It helps us see how data is arranged and
how it flows from one part to another.
The main purpose of data modelling is to show:
