                CompAring WeightS

                We use the words heavy and light to compare the weights of the objects.

                Look at the objects below and observe them carefully.

                We can compare weights using a balance or scale.
                Look at the balance given here. It has two pans-one on each side.

                There is a watermelon in one pan and an apple in the other.

                The pan with the watermelon goes down, and the pan with
                the apple goes up.

                This means the watermelon is heavier than the apple, or the
                apple is lighter than the watermelon.
