Drawing a Straight Line

A straight line can be drawn by moving a pencil

along the edge of a book or a ruler.

• Take a ruler and a pencil.

• Place the ruler on the page of your notebook.

• Move the pencil along the edge of the ruler.

• Remove the ruler.

• You will get a straight line.

You can draw a curved line using a pencil freehand .
