                Kilogram

                The kilogram is used to measure heavy
                objects. It is written as kg.


                Weights of grams and kilograms are
                shown below:                                             about 1 kg      about 1 kg       about 5 kg











                 20 kg              10 kg             5  kg        2  kg      1  kg     500 g    200 g 100 g       50 g

                If we put 1000 grams together, we get 1 kilogram. So, 1000 g = 1 kg.
