SEASONS
There are three main seasons in a year– winter, summer, and the rainy
season or monsoon.
The winter season is very cold. In this season, we wear
woollen clothes and have hot drinks like tea or coffee.
The summer season is very hot. In this season,
we wear light-coloured cotton clothes and
enjoy cold drinks, ice cream, etc.
In the rainy season, we carry umbrellas or
raincoats when we go outside, as it rains often.
Tips
• Apart from these three main seasons, we also have two short seasons.
• Autumn: The skies are mostly clear, and the weather becomes pleasant after
the rains. It is also the festival season.
• Spring: Just after winter, the weather is neither too hot nor too cold. Flowers
bloom, and nature looks colourful.
