Addition with regrouping Tens
Sometimes when we add two numbers, we get a 3-digit number.
Example 1. Add 60 and 50.
Solution.
Step 1. Add the ones. Step 2. Add the tens and regroup.

0 1 1 0
0 + 0 = 0 ones 6 + 5 = 11 tens = 1 hundred + 1 ten
So, 60 + 50 = 110.
