                Example 2. Look at the given circles and find the missing measure.

                Solution.  a.  Radius (OA) = 3 cm

                                 Diameter (BC) = 2 × OA = 2 × 3 cm = 6 cm
                             b.  Radius (OH) = ?

                                 Diameter (EF) = 8 cm                                                     The radius
                                                                                                          is half the
                                          2 × OH = 8 cm                                                  length of the
                                                                                                           diameter.
                                              OH = 8 cm ÷ 2 = 4 cm
