The length of the boundary of a closed figure is known as its perimeter.
The perimeter is calculated by adding the lengths of all the sides of a polygon.
The unit of the perimeter is the same as the unit of length of each side of the figure.
The space enclosed within the boundary of a figure or shape is called its area.
Area is measured in square units (sq. cm, sq. m, sq. km, etc.).
