                                                                                           Skills

                                             Fun with addition and subtraction
Take any 4-digit number. Example: 6249
Mix up the digits at random. 2496

Subtract the smaller number from the greater number. 6249 – 2496 = 3753
               Add the digits of the difference. 3 + 7 + 5 + 3 = 18
               If you get a two-digit number, add those. 1 + 8 = 9

Try this with some other 4-digit numbers. What do you get?
