            Multiples

            Swati and Nidhi love dancing. So, they join a dance class.

            Swati  attends  the  class  every  fourth day  of the  month
            of January starting from 4th January. Nidhi attends the
            class  every  third  day of the  month  of January  starting
            from 3rd January.

            Here, the calendar of the month of January is given. We
            circle the dates after 1st January on which Swati attends
            the class in green and the dates on which Nidhi attends

            the class in red.
            The red  circled numbers are called  the  multiples of 3.                     January 20XX
            Multiples of 3 can be obtained by finding the products of

            3 and numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ... .
