A shape or picture can be moved in various ways. These are sliding, flipping and turning.

            Slide

When a shape simply moves from one place When you slide
to another, it slides. an image, you
                                                                                                move it across.
Here, the arrow has been slid.

            Flip
When a shape turns over across a line and faces the opposite direction, it is called a
flip. A shape can be flipped either horizontally or vertically.

                                                                                                 When you flip a
                                                                                                 shape, you get
                                                                                                 its mirror image.
