                MEASuREMEnT of CAPACITy

Millilitre (mL) and litre (L) are units of capacity. Litre (L) is the base unit of capacity.
To measure smaller quantities of liquids, we use millilitres (mL). It is smaller than a
litre. To measure larger quantities of liquids, we use litres (L).

There are some other units of capacity such as kilolitre, hectolitre, decalitre, decilitre
                and centilitre.
