= 5 hours 30 minutes

So, total time taken = 2 h 10 min + 5 h 30 min

= 7 hours 40 minutes
Thus, the duration of the journey is 7 hours 40 minutes.

example 8. Sohail was born on 7th May, 2014 and his sister Soha was born on 2nd
April, 2019. Who is younger and what is their age difference?

Solution. Sohail was born in 2014 and Soha was born in 2019. So, Soha is younger

than Sohail. We can find their age difference as follows:

Subtract days: 2 < 7

So, borrow 1 month = 30 days

30 + 2 = 32, and 32 – 7 = 25 days

So, borrow 1 year = 12 months
