 Large numbers are added, subtracted, multiplied and divided in the same way
as smaller numbers.

 Addend 1 + Addend 2 = Sum

 Minuend – Subtrahend = Difference
 Multiplicand × Multiplier = Product

Dividend = Divisor × Quotient + Remainder

Two or more numbers connected by one or more operation signs form a numerical

expression. According to the DMAS rule, operations should be performed in the
order: division, multiplication, addition and subtraction.
