                                Your Aim

                                to learn about:

Keys on the Keyboard Alphabet Keys
                                         Number Keys Special Keys
                                           What is a Cursor?

You use a pencil to write on paper. In the same way you need a keyboard to type
                 on the computer screen.

A keyboard has small buttons on it called Keys. You can type text on the monitor
                 by pressing the keys.

                     KEYS ON THE KEYBOARD

As you know a keyboard consists of around 104 keys. These keys are divided

                 into three categories:

                     1. Alphabet keys (A–Z or a–z)
                     2. Number keys (1, 2, 3, ..., 9 and 0 [zero])

                     3. Special keys (Enter key, Spacebar key, Backspace key, Shift key, etc.)

                                                                                         Using the Keyboard 21
