A computer is made up of many parts. These parts are categorised into three
groups:
1. Input Devices Æ Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner, etc.
2. Output Devices Æ Monitor, Printer, Speakers, etc.
3. Storage Devices Æ Hard Disk, Compact Disc, Pen Drive, etc.
INPUT DEVICES
The devices that are used to give commands or instructions to the computer or tell
the computer what to do are called input devices. Some of the input devices are:

A keyboard is an input device that is used to give instructions to the computer by
typing text and numbers. It has buttons called keys. A standard keyboard has 104 keys.
