SCATCHJR PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE


            ScratchJr is a programming language that is developed for young children to

            create their own interactive projects through coding. Using ScratchJr, students
            can snap together various blocks to make characters move, jump, dance and

            sing. This language encourages creativity and expression by enabling children
            modify how their characters look, design their own background.

                     BLOCKS OF SCRATCHJR


            Blocks are like puzzle-piece shapes that are used to create code in ScratchJr.
            We connect the blocks to each other like a jigsaw puzzle. Blocks are easier to

            use than text-based programming as they do not need to be memorised like
            typed commands. The series of connected blocks is known as script. We drag

            the blocks into the programming area to create a script. Following are the
            various categories of blocks:
