SPECIAL KEYS
There are some keys that have a special role. Let us discuss some of them.
Spacebar Key
The spacebar key is the longest key at the
bottom of the keyboard. It adds a blank space between letters, numbers, symbols
and words.
Boost Bits
The monitor is also called Visual Display Unit (VDU).
Enter Key
We use the Enter key to move to the next line. The Enter key is
also called the Return key. A keyboard has two Enter keys.
Backspace Key
We use the Backspace key to erase what we have typed.
Up
Arrow Keys
We use the Arrow keys to move the cursor
up, down, left and right. These keys are

also known as the cursor control keys.
Down
WHAT IS A CURSOR?
A cursor is a small blinking line on the screen. It shows the place where the
next letter or number will appear when you type.
Scholars’ Space
Press different alphabet keys and notice the response on the
computer screen.
Think if you got a magical keyboard, when you will type the name
of a place and press Enter key, it will take you there. You can use it
