X allows users to follow their favourite celebrities and tag them to reach through posts. Using hashtags, people of
common interest come together for a common cause which allows people with diverse perspectives, ideas, information
and expressions to post and share their views. People often post posts to gain attention, for self promotion of their
              web pages, or for entertainment.
A user must have an account before they can start sending posts. A username on X is known as a
X handle. The people who follow you will be able to see your posts in their feed. You may check out
Trending Topics to see what is trending these days. If you find some posts interesting, you can follow
the users who posted them. X also gives you the option to unfollow a person if you are not interested
                 in his or her posts.

              4. LinkedIn: LinkedIn is a professional networking platform. It has evolved from a basic resume and job
search engine into a business platform where subject matter experts can exchange content, connect
with others, and establish their brands. It has become a common platform for job seekers and
employers to search the working professionals.
              5. Instagram: Instagram is a social networking platform that has gained popularity for showcasing your
life events and also promoting your product or services through images or videos. You can set up an
Instagram business profile to promote your brand and to get detailed analytics of the visitors/viewers
                 on your profile and posts.
              6. Telegram: Telegram is a free chat software with no restrictions on the media size to be exchanged.
It provides end-to-end encryption for all operations, including conversations and the media shared
                 by users.

End-to-end Encryption : It encrypts text messages (i.e., transforms them into an unreadable form) for transmission
and decrypts them (i.e., transforms them back to a readable form) at the recipient end.

              7. WhatsApp: WhatsApp is an instant messaging and calling service that is very commonly used to exchange messages
and media resources between two or more recipients. It is a free, simple, secure and reliable service for sending
and receiving text, photos, videos, documents, location, contacts and voice and video calls by using your phone’s
                 internet connection.

WhatsApp also allows you to form groups of family, friends, colleagues, and like-minded people.
With group chats, we can broadcast a message to a maximum of 1024 people. The admins of the
group can manage the functioning of their group by adding and removing members. The admins
may also mute or customise the notifications of a particular group. One may even block a number
to stop any further communication with a particular person. We can use WhatsApp on multiple devices by synching
the chats through the WhatsApp Web feature and Desktop apps. It has an inbuilt end-to-end encryption mechanism
so that our messages and calls are secure and nobody can read or listen to them. In addition, the WhatsApp Pay
Service also allows users to exchange money.

15.2.2 Appropriate Usage of Social Networks
Each of us produces and consumes information on social media almost daily. By using social media responsibly, we can
connect with people all over the world. Businesses can use social media to reach the right people.

              Social Media Étiquettes

As there are millions of active users on social media platforms worldwide, there are some protocols set for proper
online behaviour. We have compiled a list of social media etiquette guidelines for you to follow:
              1. Avoid responding to comments by writing words/phrases/sentences in capital letters as they are viewed as
                 “shouting”.
