                     ENTERING TEXT IN A DOCUMENT


                 To create a document, follow these steps:
                 Step 1  Place the cursor on the work area
                          screen.

                 Step 2  Type the text.


                     SAVING A DOCUMENT

                 When you have finished typing in a document, you need to save it for future use.
                 To save your document in WordPad, follow these steps:

                 Step 1  Click on the WordPad tab.

                 Step 2  Select Save or Save As from the drop-down menu.

                 Step 3  Select the format of the file to save.

                 Step 4  The Save As dialog box opens. Select the location of the file. Type a name
                          for your file in the File name: box.

                 Step 5  Click on the Save button.
