In the previous chapter, you have learnt drawing shapes in Paint. In this chapter,
you will learn more features of Paint like copy, paste, flip and rotate.
SELECTING AN IMAGE
The Select command is used to select drawing or part of a drawing. It is mainly
used when you want to move your drawing from one place to another. It provides
two types of selection:
Rectangular Selection
It is used to select the drawing in rectangular form as per need. To select the
drawing, follow these steps:
Step 1 Click on the Home tab.

Step 2 Click on the down arrow, under
the Select command. 2
Step 3 Click on Rectangular 3
selection.

Step 4 Hold the left button of the
mouse and drag over the
drawing to select it. Release
the left button of the mouse.
